UTME 2021: HOW TO SCORE ABOVE 300

 Are you a student aspiring to write JAMB's UTME 2021, for the first time, after so many trials. I have good news for you as your days of disappointment are over.

You can score 300 and above, without sweat, without examination malpractice, without being an exceptional genius. The thing is, you don't actually need to be too intelligent to score high in UTME. The reason why many fail or perform below their expectation is because of lack of information. You don't need to score less than 250 anymore. In fact, scoring 300, 340, etc, is no longer a big deal, if you follow the strategies I will be prescribing in this post.

1. Set out for a HIGH SCORE.

Give yourself a great task to accomplish. Don't aim at scoring 200 or merely 'two-something' as people usually say. Be determined to score 300 or 'three-something' as I do encourage people. If you can score 180, you can as well score 280 or more in JAMB.

2. Pray and Be Determined to Do the Right Thing.

I want you to know that once you decide to achieve success by the wrong means, you are already limiting you progress in life. You are building the wrong foundation for your future. Believe me, you don't need to arrange for 'runs' to pass UTME. NO! Actually, when I heard that people cheat in the current CBT system of JAMB's examination, I was surprised, no wonder many end up being frustrated, especially when it does not work out for them. My advise to you is this, decide to do what is right. Studying is right, praying for success is right. God will assist you to succeed if you repent from examination corruption. God help you to do what is right.

3. Study for a minimum of 4 hours per day. 

There was a research conducted on Malaysian students  recently, it proved the fact that the more your study hours, the greater performance of students at exams.

4. Make use of the Right Books.

I know many students fail, from experience, because they fail to study using the right study materials. JAMB always recommends books for UTME candidates, and gives out yearly syllabus to guide their studying, but many students fail to comply, they chose to ride on past successes, or believe that passing JAMB is by luck or by prayers ONLY. I ACTUALLY HAVE A LIST OF BOOKS READ BY STUDENTS WHO SCORED 300 AND ABOVE IN UTME. I can send them to you if you don't mind. (My number is 08145006010) These books are needed to score highly in JAMB. You need to get and STUDY them.

5. Study PAST QUESTIONS.

I don't need to talk much here. Research has it that, 80% of examination questions are past questions. You can easily score above 70% from just studying with past questions. Don't dull yourself.

6. Regularly Grade your Performance and Record them. 

Monitor your progress, it will go a long way in boosting your confidence and prompt you to do more if your performance is not up to your expectation. The beauty of this strategy is that you can predict your own score, even before you write the examination.

7. Practice using the CBT software.

If you need help with this, I can help you, if you ask for it. Or simply google it up. There are a lot of CBT practice softwares online, or use the CBT practice software that will be given you by JAMB.

Other tips:

*Maximize early morning to study. "Lose an hour in the morning, and you will be all day hunting for it." ~Richard Whately

*Fear not. Avoid anxiety.

*Believe that you are well able to score highly in UTME.

*Improve on your timing. How many questions can you answer in one minute. Yes, one minute.

*Learn how to answer questions.

*Know which questions to answer first, which questions to skip and return to later.

*Avoid distractions.
